Hey everyone,

For those who missed the AMA on July 15th with Nick Lambert (CEO) and Elina Cadouri (COO), here are the key highlights:

1. Nick and Elina expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the community for their support, especially during the recent challenges with the Binance delisting. They emphasized how much the community's loyalty means to them.

2. Binance Delisting: What happened with the Binance delisting?

  • DOCK was delisted from Binance without any prior warnings and only 7 days after being added to the Monitoring List.
  • Even though Binance did not provide one specific reason for adding DOCK to the Monitoring List, the team believes it could have been due to trading volume or liquidity given that all of the other reasons do not apply to the project. Dock had already been in the process of hiring a  Market Maker to improve the liquidity aspect who began working on this immediately. But Binance, without warning, delisted DOCK after only a week whereas projects are typically given months or even a year to work on removing the monitoring tag
  • Despite this setback, the fundamentals of DOCK remain strong, and the team is committed to moving forward.

3. How is the team ensuring the stability and growth of the project?

  • We increased validator rewards to support and encourage network stability.
  • Engaged a regulated Market Maker to ensure liquidity for the DOCK token.
  • We are exploring additional exchange listings to broaden DOCK’s availability and reach.
  • Dock’s platform currently serves enterprise clients and client acquisition remains a top priority.

4. Strategy and Goals: What are the main goals and strategies for the next year?

  • Continuing to execute the published roadmap with exciting new developments.
  • Filed a patent for "Verifier Pay Issuer", a feature that enables issuers to charge for the verification of a credential, showcasing DOCK’s innovative approach to decentralized identity.
  • Several partnership announcements are anticipated, which will drive adoption and demand for the DOCK token.

5. Community: How can the community help support DOCK?

  • Community members can share and amplify DOCK’s social media content to create awareness.
  • It is important to keep positive engagement and constructive feedback.
  • Dock remains transparent and accessible for any concerns or questions from the community.

6. Roadmap for 2024: What can we look forward to in the second half of 2024?

  • Dock will develop the ability to verify eIDAS 2.0 and mDL credentials, launch a Cloud Wallet Beta, integrate Biometric-bound credentials, launch an Embeddable Wallet SDK, and roll out support for the OpenID4VC standard.

7. Adoption and Token Demand: Why is client acquisition important for DOCK?

  • Every transaction on the DOCK network uses DOCK tokens, driving demand as more companies adopt the technology.
  • DOCK is working to ensure that even companies without technical expertise can easily integrate and benefit from their innovative solutions.

8. Audience questions: Are team members personally invested in DOCK?

  • Yes, several team members hold DOCK in their personal portfolios and has received tokens as part of their compensation.

10. Is there a chance of being relisted on Binance?
