We've just returned from the vibrant streets of Paris for the Ethereum Community Conference (EthCC) where Mike Parkhill (Head of Engineering) and Nick Lambert (CEO) demoed how to issue Polygon-based Verifiable Credentials using Dock’s API at the Polygon DevX event. EthCC is the largest annual European Ethereum event focused on technology and community and this year’s event took place on July 17-20, 2023. There were 5,000 participants at the conference, mostly developers, and we had a chance to connect with many of them.
Mike and Nick showcased Dock's latest integration: Polygon ID. One of the main highlights was meeting Polygon’s leadership team in person for the first time.
They met these fine folks from the Polygon ID team:
- Silvia Aran: Technical Sales Director
- Tony Olendo: Lead Developer Relations Engineer
- Sebastian Rodriguez: VP of Product
- Miroslav Milenkovic, Director of Engineering
This strengthened our relationship and we’re excited about future collaborations to enhance both of our technology solutions.
Dock and Polygon’s solutions are built on the principles of Self-Sovereign Identity, which is a concept of people having full control and ownership over their digital identity. Dock’s integration of Polygon ID on Dock’s platform enables developers to build Polygon-based identity features and apps faster and easier, which can help increase the adoption of Verifiable Credentials.
