As Dock pushes forward our vision for an internet of trust enabled through verifiable data, we are excited to announce our grant approval from the Web3 Foundation. This grant serves as a validation of our team and solution and is an opportunity to be a significant contributor to Polkadots ecosystem.

Dock was founded with a mission to solve inefficiencies in existing data solutions: untrusted and inaccurate information, data silos and gatekeepers, incompatibilities, and lack of control for users. After exhaustive research, the solution: standards-compliant, verifiable digital credentials.

The team has been hard at work over the past few weeks improving the credential platform for both recipients & organizations while also preparing for the voting outcome of DGP-2. The major changes to the voting process mentioned in June's mid-month update also went live last week.

Our latest efforts have been aimed at continuing to improve the overall user experience- for those issuing digital credentials through Dock and for those receiving them. With that in mind, we're excited to share our last two weeks of progress in June's mid-month update.

Dock has a lot of work in progress and we’re introducing a mid-month update to keep our community aware of all updates. You can find our monthly updates in the Updates section of our blog, and expect an update half-way through each month as well as continuing with the monthly recap moving forward.

As adoption of Dock's all-in-one blockchain anchored digital credential solution grows, we want to make sure our community is growing right along with it. We've been working tirelessly to bring our work into the spotlight and it's vitally important that our progress is easily accessible.

During April, our team made strong headway on our next major launch, which is our digital credential issuing platform. Organizations of all types - associations, universities, e-learning sites, and many more - will be able to issue universally verifiable digital credentials anchored on blockchain.

Our March marked the biggest update ever from Dock. We released the Dock Wallet, a place for storing, verifying & sharing your digital credentials. The new year started off strong with big open source releases, a new partner going live, upgrading our frontend framework, introducing a new voting proposal, unveiling our new blog and various tests in partnership with Remote.com. Open Source Release January marked our largest open source release

2018 was an eventful year for Dock with a ton of activity packed into a 12-month period. Between launching the network, to our token sale and growing one of the largest communities and network of users in blockchain, there was never a dull moment.

Earlier last year, the Dock team spent an incredible week in Tulum, Mexico for our first annual team retreat. As a distributed company across 4 continents and 8 countries, many of us had been working together for years without ever meeting face-to-face.
